SCOPE OF THE WORK

• Two phased construction of a 4 lane roadway including 18 m long bridge over the Millstone River complete with pre-cast concrete box girders, cast-in-situ concrete abutments, steel railings and hangers for suspension of utilities
• Demolition and removal of existing bridge structure
• MSE Wall Construction
• Reconfiguration of 2 intersections complete with temporary and new intersection signalization and lighting – Bowen Road at Pryde Avenue and Bowen Road at Buttertubs
• Traffic control and establishment of detours to accommodate traffic flow of approximately 16,000 vehicles per day through construction site
• Construction of new roads and reconstruction of existing roads complete with new concrete curbs, sidewalks, asphalt paving and signage
• Supply and installation of new underground infrastructure (i.e. water, storm and sanitary sewers, electrical, etc.) requiring extensive shoring of deep excavations and by-pass pumping of live sewage
• Excavation and removal of contaminated soils
• Landscaping
